Inter-University Exchange Project by MEXT

Overview

The "Inter-University Exchange Project" is a government funded project that was launched by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) in 2011 giving financial support to efforts for the formation of collaborative programs with universities in such countries as Asia and US, that conduct study abroad programs for Japanese students and undertake the strategic acceptance of foreign students.

Indo-Pacific Region

In fiscal year 2022, in order to support for the formation of collaborative programs with universities in the Indo-Pacific region, our project "Human Resource Development Program on Field Science Research in the Indo-Pacific Region" was adopted.

ASEAN

In fiscal year 2016, in order to support for the formation of collaborative programs with universities in Asia, our project "Co-creative Dormitory-type Group-work for Science and Technological Students in Japan and Mekong Countries with Regional Collaboration" was adopted.

Turkey

In fiscal year 2015, in order to support for the formation of collaborative programs with Latin American and the Caribbean, Turkish universities, our project "Global Framework of Student Capacity Development for Resilient Agriculture and Food Production" was adopted.

Russia

Russia

In fiscal year 2014, in order to support for the formation of collaborative programs with Russian and Indian universities, our project "Construction of the global framework promoting the collaborative education and career development for young medical students in Japan and Russia" was adopted.
