2. Scholarships through Exchange Agreements between Your Home City and a Japanese Municipality

Your home city may have a scholarship or similar system available to you through an exchange agreement with a Japanese municipality (prefecture or city). Check with your university’s advisor or government education agency for openings and conditions.

3. Scholarships Applied for Privately

There are no limitations on applying for scholarships where "university recommendation" is not included in the application requirements. When the university is notified that applications are being accepted, the information will be put on the notice-boards.
