[To all NU Students] Regarding the rules on traveling to prevent further spread of COVID-19 (Updated: Mar. 25, 2022)

When you travel outside Niigata Prefecture, you are required to make sufficient consideration of the necessity of your journey, and if you need to travel out of Niigata Prefecture, please take basic infection control measures such as wearing a mask. In addition, if your faculty or graduate school has any rules on traveling outside Niigata Prefecture, please be sure to follow them accordingly.

When traveling outside Niigata Prefecture, daily monitoring of body temperatures and health conditions should be done for a period of one week. Additionally, you should record all activities you took for a period of one week, including the information about when, where, and who you met with. All information should be kept by each person. We will use your health checklist and self-reporting travel/activity form to find people who may have had close contact with you when you get tested positive for COVID-19.

Notification from the President, issued on March 8, 2022, asking you to take thorough effort to prevent further spread of the novel coronavirus infection is posted on our website. Please make sure to refer to the message.

We appreciate your understanding and kind cooperation.
