Niigata University is to hold "Japan Russia Online Lectures on Medical Sciences and Healthcare" in collaboration with Krasnoyarsk State Medical University, Russia, starting from Wednesday, December 9 to Friday, December 11.
The event aims to provide valuable opportunities with students in Japan and Russia to acquire state of the art knowledge on medical sciences and replace some of the face-to-face interaction between two countries.
Lectures are open to medical students in Japan and Russia.

Aims and Objectives:
The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic has been unprecedented, and its impact to medical sciences, especially in the field of foreign exchanges, is paramount.
Krasnoyarsk State Medical University and Niigata University invites you to participate in "Japan-Russia online lectures for Medical Sciences and Healthcare," which is jointly held with specialized section in the field of Health and Medicine, Human Resource Development Platform for Japan-Russia Economic Cooperation and Personnel Exchange.
The lectures aim to provide valuable opportunities with students to foster the medical expertise and exchange networks between two countries. The participants will share the cutting-edge knowledge on medical sciences and broaden their perspectives through the online experiences.

Lectures:
・Lectures will be held online via Zoom.
・Two lectures are to be provided per a day: one is from Japanese side and another is from Russian side. Six lectures are provided in total during the three days; three lectures are from Japan, the other three are from Russia.
・Each lecture lasts 40-45min, followed by 10-15 min Q&A.
・Niigata University hosts lectures when they are provided by Japanese universities. KraSMU hosts lectures when they are provided by KraSMU.
・Audiences can make inquiries via video chat. The lecturers pick up inquiries, and then give answers to them.
