Outline:

With students experiencing an economic impact on their lifestyles due to reductions in household income or income from part-time work because of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Japanese government has established the program which will provide those who face difficulties continuing their studies at their university or other educational institution with a cash handout so that they will not be forced to abandon their studies.

We will be accepting applications for the third round as follows. If you wish to apply for support, please read the application guide carefully and follow the procedure as shown below.

Eligible Students:

Undergraduates, Graduates, and School Nurse-Teachers' course students.
*Re-application is available. Non-degree seeking students and those who have already received the cash handout this school year are not eligible.

Payment Amount:

100,000 yen

How to Apply:

Please apply via online using the app LINE or send the application to us by mail.

1. Online Application
   We will notify you of the information regarding the URL and QR code for the application through the Student Web System.
2. Application by Mail
   Please send the necessary documents by using Letter Pack to the following address. We also accept the documents at the reception desk.

Application Deadline:

The application must reach us no later than Wednesday, March 16, 2022

Selection of Recommenders:

Please note that the number of people who can be recommended by the university is limited, and not all applicants can be recommended.

Payment Approval:

After the university's selection and recommendation to JASSO, the payment decision will be notified of you by transferring the benefits to your bank account.
The result of the selection will be notified individually through the Student Web System.
