Assoc. Prof. Tomoki MAEKAWA of the Faculty of Dentistry received the Young Scientists' Award for 2020

Assoc. Prof. Tomoki MAEKAWA of the Faculty of Dentistry in Niigata University, who also belongs to Institute for Research Promotion as a professor, has received a Young Scientist' Award from The Commendation for Science and Technology by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) in 2020. The awards are designed to give young scientists who are under 40 years old and whose outstanding achievements in conducting highly innovative, pioneering and creative research (97 recipients out of 353 applicants in 2020). The Commendation for Science and Technology by the MEXT is awarded to those who have achieved remarkable results in research and development related to science and technology and promotion of understanding. Assoc. Prof. MAEKAWA won this award for the first time at Niigata University.
