[To all NU Students] Regarding classes of the first semester for AY 2021

Dec 28 2020

Niigata University conducted non-face-to-face classes for the first semester of AY 2020 in principle, giving the first priority to the prevention and control measures against the novel coronavirus infectious disease (COVID-19). For the second semester, we have essentially conducted non-face-to-face classes, and also partially offered face-to-face lasses as well as classes which combine face-to-face class with non-face-to-face class for certain classes, such as experimental/laboratory classes, with ensuring thorough infection control measures.

It is still uncertain when the situation about COVID-19 will be settled. As we continue to be under an unpredictable situation during the first semester for AY 2021, Niigata University will strive to enhance the educational effectiveness and student life by extending the scope of face-to-face classes compare to the ones in AY 2020 while observing the future situation about the infection.
