【To all NU Students】Points to note when you take face-to-face classes (Updated on Apr, 6, 2021)

Apr 06 2021

1. In case the infection of the novel coronavirus occurs on campus, and it becomes necessary to identify the person who have had close contact with the infected person, we have put QR codes on university equipment such as desks in lecture rooms. Be sure to take a seat with the QR code. More information regarding how to use the codes will be announced separately.

2. Please cooperate with us to open the windows and doors of lecture rooms, including laboratories, to make sure that they are well ventilated.

3. Please keep a distance between seats in classrooms; you are not allowed to sit in a seat which is indicated as "do not seat."

4. Please refrain from speaking and having a conversation at close range as much as possible.

5. Please bring your own mask and be sure to wear it. You are not allowed to take "face-to-face classes" without a mask, unless you are exempt from wearing it based on the direction by a doctor or other authorities.

6. To prevent contagious infection, please wash your hands frequently and be sure to disinfect your hands and fingers with disinfectant, if it is available in front of lecture rooms or at the entrance of buildings.

7. To monitor your health condition, make sure to take your body temperature every morning. In case you have symptoms such as a fever, do not come to the campus. If you forget to take your temperature at home or if you feel unwell, be sure to take your temperature when you enter a building using a thermal camera (automatic temperature sensor), which are installed at the entrance of each faculty.

8. If you have to attend "online non-face-to-face classes" and "face-to-face classes" on the same day, you may use places such as a lecture room on campus, where you can take "non-face-to-face classes" via Zoom. In this case as well, you are required to maintain space between each other when you take a seat. For more information regarding the available lecture rooms, please click HERE (Japanese only).
