Niigata University Health Administration Center provides a broad range of health services to students of the university. The Center has two branches; Ikarash Campus and Asahimachi Campus, both of which are supported by highly qualified physicians, a psychiatrist, a clinical psychologist, and nurses.

Physical and Mental Healthcare Support

• If you are in need of treatment of injury, illness, or have any health concern, you can consult with their physicians for medical treatment. There is no charge to be seen by our physicians.
  Check consultation hours on the website (Japanese), and visit the Center or call the following numbers to make sure to see their physicians although there is no need to make an appointment.

• If you have any concerns about your mental health, such as interpersonal relationships with your friends or family, you can consult with their psychiatrist and/or clinical psychologist.
  The consultation is available by appointment only. Check consultation hours on the website (Japanese), and visit the Center, call the following numbers or send an e-mail to make an appointment.

Annual Checkups

All students and staff members at Niigata University are required to take annual medical checkups. Based on the results of the checkups, we can offer you healthcare guidance.
