Niigata University
1. Overseas travel
- To respond to crises, such as an incident, accident, terrorism, natural disaster, and infectious disease, the following criteria for overseas travel permission have been formulated based on the overseas travel safety information by country and region ([Travel Advice and Warnings, including those on infectious diseases), issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan (MOFA). Students, faculty, and staff who wish to travel overseas must obtain permission to do so in accordance with the criteria.
- MOFA’s Travel Advice and Warnings (Japanese language version) are updated from time to time. Please make sure to check the latest information not only when deciding whether or not to travel, but also before and during your trip.
- For private trips, as well as for study abroad and business trips, please check the overseas travel safety information of your destination and refer to these criteria as a decision-making tool.

●When you travel abroad, please be sure to check in advance relevant websites, campus notices, etc. and complete all the prescribed university procedures.
