This year, three staff members from three different divisions at Niigata University, the Student Affairs Division, Personnel Planning Division and Brain Research Institute Office participated in the program as a part of their training program in English, which started in 2017. On the first day, the presentations about each university were given, a question-and-answer session and free discussion were held in addition to the library tour. On the second day, all seven participants visited relevant divisions and some facilities such as International House (Accommodation for international students and researchers) listening attentively to the three staff of Niigata University as they toured the actual sites. On the third day, they went on an excursion in which they visited a Sake brewery as well as Yahiko shrine. Through the three-day program, the staff of Niigata University explained not only their daily work but also Japanese culture in English.
