The 2019 fall graduation ceremony was held on Friday, September 20 at the Library Hall on Ikarashi Campus. A total of 96 students were awarded degrees: 22 bachelor's degrees, 72 graduate degrees and 2 doctorate degrees by dissertation.
At the ceremony, President Takahashi awarded degrees to the representatives of graduating students receiving bachelor's degrees and graduate degrees. Next followed President Takahashi's graduation address, stating, "We hope you will play an active part in society, remembering our university's ideals: autonomy and creation. Although the places where you will need to positively present yourselves and do well may differ, I hope that you will confront any and all difficulties you face, making the most of what you have learned here." The graduates at the ceremony focused their thoughts under the gaze of their families, friends and teachers.
Congratulations on your graduation. We hope that all of you will spread your wings and continue to excel with confidence and pride in our new society.
