On Friday, October 4, Niigata University welcomed international students for the fall 2013 semester at the Opening Ceremony, hosted by the International Exchange Support Center at Ikarashi campus. The university president and the director of the center gave welcome addresses, and 68 students from all over the world took their matriculation oath. The ceremony marked the official beginning of their journey at Niigata University, and the students were excited about starting their academic careers in Japan.
