As the first of its kind in Niigata Prefecture, the Graduate School of Health Sciences is devoted not only to training advanced medical professionals capable of working in the fields of medical care, health care and welfare, and educational researchers interested in health sciences, but also people who will contribute to international medical activities and medical cooperation.

Please note: Starting in April 2026 the Graduate School of Health Sciences and the Graduate School of Medical and Dental Sciences will be integrated to establish the new Graduate School of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences. This new graduate school will offer two majors:

• Major in Health Sciences（Master's, Doctor's）
• Major in Medicine and Dentistry（Doctor's）

• The Programs in both the Graduate School of Health Sciences and the Graduate School of Medical and Dental Sciences will no longer accept new students beginning in the 2026 academic year.
