Points to note when holding meetings with food and beverages (June 30, 2023)

Niigata University aims to achieve "Build a campus where those who wear a mask and those who do not coexist in mutual respect."

The following is a list of points to keep in mind that must be observed for this purpose. We hope that students and staff will follow these rules to make the get-together, receptions, etc. enjoyable.

To organizers:

  • Keep your rooms ventilated. (mechanical ventilation, open window ventilation)
  • Hold the event with an appropriate number of people.
  • When greeting and toasting, keep a certain distance from the participants in case of droplet exposure.

To participants:

  • If you have symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, etc., please refrain from participating.
  • If someone living with you tests positive, please refrain from participating.
  • Wash your hands before eating.
  • Avoid talking loudly. (Be aware of droplet.)
  • Avoid large plates, or refrain from conversation when serving food.
  • Refrain from prolonged conversation while pouring drinks for each other.
  • Be kindly requested not to force someone to wear or take off the mask against their free will.

※Students are also encouraged to review the Campus Life Start Guide about alcohol.
