[Newly Enrolled Students] Entry restrictions and quarantine measures when entering Japan

【Newly Enrolled Students】Entry restrictions and quarantine measures when entering Japan (As of September 10)

(1) Suspension of validity of visas issued in designated countries
In order to minimize the risk of additional imported cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the Japanese government took tight border control measures against the countries listed in the following websites. In principal, the validity of single or multiple-entry visa as well as visa exemption measures issued by Japanese Embassies or Consulates General in designated countries is suspended.

As a consequence, the new incoming students from those countries will not be permitted to enter Japan during the restriction period. The period can be extended depending on the situation.
