You should keep close communication with the Student Affairs Office of Faculty/ Graduate School, prepare the Certificate of Eligibility (Student) Application Form, and submit to the Student Affairs Office. Niigata University will file the application for Certificate of Eligibility with the Tokyo Regional Immigration Bureau along with the statement of reasons for the student. International Students who receive the Certificate of Eligibility from Niigata University should submit this document when applying for a visa at the Japanese embassy/consulate in the home country.
