The Graduate School of Modern Society and Culture currently offers Doctoral Programs in the humanities and social sciences. It provides small, interactive classes and a multiple-supervisor system to cultivate highly specialized professionals with the ability to explore and address a wide range of issues. The School also welcomes mature and international students.
Please note: As of April 2026, the Master’s Program of the Graduate School of Modern Society and Culture has been integrated with that of the Graduate School of Science and Technology to establish the Graduate School of Integrated Arts and Sciences. The Doctoral Programs will continue to admit students for the time being; however, they are scheduled to be reorganized into the Doctoral Program of the Graduate School of Integrated Arts and Sciences in April 2028.
